On April 6th there will be mass student demonstrations across the UK and in Northern Ireland called by the National Union Of Students. We need to discuss what to do on that day. Since school students are not members of the NUS, will probably have to do something in conjunction.
The fight for EMA and the fight against tuition fees is not yet won. Danny Kennedy has not specified what exactly will happen to EMA. Also, on of the biggest single cuts to the NI Budget was to the Education department. 800mn. This will lead to a poorer quality of education for all and massive job losses for those who work in schools. We must fight these cuts.
