Students Occupy Council Offices

A group of students occupied the offices of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council today calling for grants to be paid on time. They were also calling for an increase in the income thresholds so that more students can avail of grants.

Students Protest for Better Grant

In a demonstration outside the Department of Education, on Thursday March 7th, 2002 around 70 students protested against the pathetic level of the student grant. The demo was the result of a motion put to UCD SU council by grass roots councillors.
