Principles of feedback; transfer function; block diagrams; steady-state errors; Routh and Nyquist techniques; Bode plots; root loci; lag, lead and lead-lag compensation; Heating — resistance, induction, dielectric; Welding — spot, aptrasnco and butt; Electric traction — speed-time curves, tractive effort.
